I posted in more than one thread after signing day that I thought Dallas would be better than Arnett. I also thought he should've been given more plays to get him the ball. But I'm not the coaches. I feel he'll step up this year. Dallas is a very good athlete.

Yea from the footage I've seen he was impressive and I thought they should have too,I hope he has abig year for us

Sorry. But no. You can deny all you want but Bray does really well in the passing O. And no, he doesn't just "wing it". He can "see" coverages and read blitzes. Somehow that doesn't translate to reading run defenses.

I honestly think that's why the loss of Hunter was such a huge deal. Chaney/Dooley had put the season on a pass to set up the run strategy because that's what they did well. They likely felt that Bray could continue to develop as a manager of the whole O under the cover of his great strength in the passing game.

When Bray sees the one on one on the outside he gives his receiver a shot at the ball. That isn't winging it. I also agree that he could check to some runs but I am sure he thinks he can get every first down with his arm.

He does. And when he's on... He probably can.

I called in to Middays with Gaston and Savoie on sports 56 and Keith Niebuhr was a guest. I asked him to comment on the Patterson situation. He said that UT is not out of it by any stretch and that it will be a battle to the end between UT, Auburn, and Georgia. Also mentioned Ole Miss and LSU as possibilities and to watch out for both.

Now, take this with a grain of salt ,because before he gave his opinion, he mentioned that he doesn't cover juco prospects (I wasn't aware). He just was reiterating what his colleagues have told him.

Rogers is gone after this season and if Hunter comes back strong , he is gone also. Patterson would be the number one guy in 2013 if he comes here. Even if he is number 3 in 2012 , Bray will spread the passes around. Hope CP comes to Tennessee.

Knowing Justin, i wouldnt be suprised in the least if he came back for his sr year, regardless of the year he has. DR on the other hand, gone like a bullet.

DR is a great player, but as soon as that rookie signing bonus flashes infront of his eyes, he's out.

nothing wrong with that - if a corporation had given me 2-3 mil guaranteed to leave college after my junior year - see ya

hell id leave middle school early for that kind of cash

What kind of answer is that? I could have said that everyone is at the top of the list.

I'd think the same about Hunter if he didn't get injured last season. I guess I'm going with the thought that if he has a great season , he won't return and take a chance on it happening again. But hey , I hope he does return in 2013.

Can you expand on the Donte and Kelley comment?

They both wanted the spotlight and acted less like teammates and seemed to be competing against eachother. But Da'rick and Justin seem like friends to me. Not at all like KW and DS. Hunter seems to get along with everyone and I think that has alot to do with my opinion on this.

As for the draft comment... Kelley had a bet that he would be drafted higher than Donte. Donte took him up on it and Kelley tricked him by not entering the draft. Donte tried to get out of the draft and come back to college , but was denied.
