Calling DocVol, Spring Bok Vol, and Skeeter!

Skeeter, do you think the semi-mass exodus on the staff is due to their perception of where the program--or Dooley--is headed?

CHH is in the last year of his contract and hes a little hard to get along with. He is a fine coach tho, regardless of what people think of him.

Even though I'm still supporting Dooley for another year, I think Dooley would be great in the AD.

I'm not and haven't really been a proponent for him as a coach who can take UT back to championship contention, but from the onset I've said he'd be a world class AD. Not really sure if he could take a promotion to asst AD and combine that with assist coach (free tickets, access to practice, but no real need to coach or gameplan due to his other commitments at the AD).

I've not thrown in the towell against Dooley yet. He's been surrounded by pressure and difficult circumstances in the program, but next year is my proverbial litmus test (not that I'm important).

But I know he is very smart, competitive, and tactful.

Thanks.
Considering his lines sucked with the Chicago Bears and here. I'm sure we'll be quite all right.

I'm not as concerned with loosing Heistand as I am with coaches in general jumping ship, especially Wilcox and Sirmon.

I never thought I'd see the day where we'd lose a coach to Washington with a lateral position, but then there have been A LOT of firsts lately.

Im sure the constant bashing by the media and fans didn't help. I remember he went off on a media member this year. I think it was Rucker.

Thanks.

With Wilcox getting a no buyout clause, you should have known he would jump at any oppotunity he likes.

You mean Browning? Brooks is the DL coach at Clemson that used to coach here and would be welcomed back by most fans. Or are you referring to another OL coach named Brooks?

Yeah, I meant Browning for this position, but would love to see Brooks back on the UT sideline. Guy is a great coach and recruiter.

That would be two former vols.

Too much smoke for far too long for it to not be Randy Shannon.

I'm diving in.

made my morning !!

FWIW, if DD cannot get it done then he will leave the program more "attractive" than he found it.

Why do people have such a hard time understanding this?.. Is it their hatred of Dooley that will not allow them to admit that he has at least made progress in this area?
