If true, we are McCullers's second choice behind Bama (hopefully no room) and Shannon's second choice behind Auburn (Auburn hired VanGorder). In these cases, I'm fine with sloppy seconds.

dude, he is a prospect you don't go replace like you can Khalid henderson, no disrespect, but lets get something done here.

lol

You dont make a rush decision on a coaching position over one recruit. If Dalton isnt willing to wait long enough to see who the DC is then most likely he wasnt going to be a Vol anyway.

I am fine with them taking their time as long as its the right choice.

not sure if serious. My sarcasm meter didn't register but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Dalton didn't have a good game. Of course it's just one game, so it doesn't really mean anything. But he struggled a bit, and I think Rivals has a fair ranking of him. Not really a big deal, imo.

It could be that he wants to delay his OV until he can talk to his new DC. I can't see anything wrong with that. Let's not jump off bridges and burn mattresses if he wants to delay the visit.

I watch a lot of these games and LB's almost never have "good" games. The all-star game is all about flash and throwing. D line and DB's are more on show than LB's.

In college football this won't work; with Dalton being an ILB really didn't get the opportunity to shine.

I think Dalton had a pretty good game. LB's can stand out though. IMO, AJ Johnson played like a beast in his AA game.

I agree, I don't mean to say never, but of all positions I've always felt LB's had the toughest time to shine because of the types of offense ran.

Dalton was taking/calling plays for the D all game. i think that's credit to his leadership/mental ability which is especially important for the Mike position
