'12 D.C. DB Kenneth Crawley

Maybe after JuCo? I haven't followed him much in a week or so?

hope so, unless he goes to a 4 year school in another conference.

Didn't Dooley fly up to see him, and he decommitted that night. If so, that shows desire to retain relationship.

I still think Colorado or a Big East school will sign him and try to get him into school.

You may be right but I think someone rolls the dice.

I think someone will. Seems like KU, CU, and Maryland are on him. Before the new rules he probably could have been a sign and place for UT.

SIAP, in the chatroom on TOS tonight, they said that Crawley had grades, "as bad as I have ever seen."

Amazing....wasn't this kid on our EE list at one point?

You'd think someone would check to make sure that was a real possibility instead of just believing the kid when he said he would be...

From the way it looks Crawley will be lucky to be an EE in the 2014 class

I think Dooley said something about how there's always risk with grades until after the first semester grades are in. But honestly, how hard is it to get a 2 point??? And then what you only need like a 17 on the ACT to get in? My god, borderline retarded if you can't get that.

Some kids just don't get raised like (I assume) you and I. It's a shame really that they really have no clue what their education can offer them in terms of getting out of their current situation. Good luck to Crawley...

Lol so there is a washington post article today saying that crawley dumped us due to the arnett thing. What a joke.

All of us "Dooley apologists" will say he needs to be let go if he has sub par year next year. Will you NegaVols say anything different if we have a good year.

Let me answer the question for you: No. It's against your nature. If we go 9-3, you'll b!+ch and moan that a good coach would have gone 11-1. You're completely unable to be objective. If we were to win the SEC, you would just disappear like a fart in the wind. God I hope we win the SEC for 2 reasons now.
Not me. If Dooley puts up 9 wins, I would agree he deserves another year. Having said that, a good 2012 doesn't buy him another 3 years. There's way more stacked up on the negative side of Dooley's ledger than the positive. To me, he needs to string together a number of good seasons to stabilize the program, and establish himself as a long-term answer at HC.

If he gets 9 wins then he definitely deserves another year: end of story.

seems like his GPA would be terrible then and there wouldnt be any question he's not getting in

what is minimum GPA anybody know?

Seems like not long ago he was on our commit list yet I never heard about when he cut ties with us?? That sucks.

We parted ways with him about a week ago. He had what volquest called the worst transcript they had ever seem. Likely Juco, but some school like colorado or kansas might take a chance on him and hope he gets in.
