It still just does not make sense as to why would Dooley not want him out recruiting rather than trying to make a splash on Monday?

Best I can tell the only "media" that reported Shannon was a done deal are fansites and bloggers. The only actual media that I've seen/read refuted the Shannon reports. We'll see.

I tried to warn you guys several times to not get too excited about Shannon because it wasn't nearly as serious as bloggers were making it out to be.

Writer for the miami herald tweeted that it was a done deal, but that was the most reputable source that has reported it.

Yes almost all local media has refuted him as a candidate.

IDK and to ad a wrinkle DeerPark who has pretty good stuff is sayIng Hubbs reports Shannon and UT have no interest.

I seen that and Hubbs has been saying through out that he doubts it will be Shannon. I just want it done before next weekend.

You do realize he is talking about all the people in the Athletic department? He isn't saying coaches or Hart.
