I can't help but to feel VN is going to get letdown come Monday. Just a creeping suspicion that we may have jumped the gun a bit.

this is very likely going to be the case.

they are still talking to coaches to see who might be interested in a chance to interview with CDD while he is in San Antonio. Don;t be surprised at more names coming up tomorrow.

Dooley will be interviewing coaches the next couple days for the DC spot as they are vetted.

From what I've heard, Steele may be only one out of picture.. but no offers made at this point..

Thanks Larry. This disappoints me because it sounds like hardly anyone wants the job and the ones that have possibly been interviewed aren't making any impressions.

Larry didn't rule out RS. He has said he hasn't been contacted but it sounded like he is coming off that stance when he said Steele is the only one out.

what happened is it was Steele until the Orange Bowl. no one else had been considered. when they happened, then things opened up.. now been going through the process to find those interested and setup the face to faces with Dooley. Dooley has been recruiting all week. face to face happens in SA if things progress through the vetting process

dude if it was shannon i would be happy as hell, i just think he is going to hire a ho-hum hire. lets see if he can prove me wrong, it would be nice.
