Assuming Shannon is a done deal, what is everyone's thoughts on the new Defensive coach that he will bring in to the program. Hopefully an amazing recruiter to close this class. Thoughts?

Off topic, but that's the reason I can't take soccer or "futbol" seriously. The blatant faking of injuries is pretty bad. Yes, it happens in football and there are flops in basketball, but these guys get the cart brought out only to hop off it a minute later.

Whatever is happening, it sounds like CDD and Hart have sealed all leaks. No one out of a tight circle seems to really know what is truly transpiring behind the scenes.

Sounds like word is slightly leaking out, but it seems the people in the know have agreed not to tell any Knoxville media. If so, they have earned a little of my respect.

Which is a complete 180 from what Hamilton was doing around here. While we don't always know for sure what's going on, it usually works out better in the end when the press is kept out of it. The people involved are left room to breathe and do their jobs.

I agree. Hopefully the buffoons that make-up the local media will get the hint and stop biting the very hands that feed their mouths. I used to read all of the articles in the Sentinel and other sources, but only come here now. Thr local media and their affiliates will no longer receive my support.

Stupid statement IMO. Hamilton did not have leaks during coaching searches. He did have idiots in the media making things up (Hyams, Basilio) and that is what Dooley has as well.

Kiffin was more open to the media than Dooley. None of that has changed.
