This dude is going to be a beast for us. Can't wait. And thanks Dep for all the updates. You da man
Thanks, I enjoyed sharing the info and hopefully helping ya'll to get to know Nate a little.
And yes, I think he is going to be a beast too. Especially if he adds a little more muscle. He isn't small now.

if you had to compare Peterman with a modern day qb as far as his strength's go who would it be? :hi:
Wow, that's a tough call. He's accurate, can extend the play with his feet, tough to bring down, doesn't get rattled, is a heck of a leader, can throw the long ball and has great touch, can drop a shoulder and run over you if he has to, doesn't get sacked often because he gets the ball out fast, is smart, and learns fast.
Heck, if you can think of a QB with all those pluses, I'll let you name him...LOL.

Dep, you have seen Peterman play and I've only see highlights. I really feel this kid has some intangibles that could make him great.
My question is this. What constructive criticism would you have for his play. What's his biggest weakness. I've watched QB's rated ahead of him on Rivals, 247, and Scout and his film looks so much better than many.
I think your info is wrong because he is rooming with justin meredith. So I read that article on Peterman and it said he was rooming with Joseph Ayres. I went to high school with Joe I was a couple years younger than him but the dude was well liked by everyone. I went to McCallie. I wasn't necessarily friends with him but some of my friends have older brothers that were best frans with the dude. Class Act and a hard worker apparently. Excited for next season hell yeah GBO!
I agree, I think he's better than quite a few ranked ahead of him.
The only think I can think of, and I've said this before, he will try and fit a ball in where maybe he should have made another choice. He may have gotten comfortable with our WRs, because they caught just about anything he threw at them, so he would take chances with getting them the ball. One is going to Wake Forrest and the other to Troy next year.
I don't see this as a big issue, as he will have great WRs at UT to throw to. The thing is, even when he threw it in tight windows, often there was a great outcome.
Nate is going to be huge for ya'll in the future. I truly believe that. He is a humble kid, and I can guarantee you'll never have an attitude or behavior problem with him.
He is all about the team. As it should be.
I could sing his praises for days...LOL...but you can just read back in my posts for his game highlights and my input.

Thanks,
I was very impressed with his receivers. That's really what players in the NFL do though. They put the ball in an area so their WR can make a play on it.
That's the biggest difference I notice between average and great players. In the SEC, the separation between WR and DB is minimal.
but yeah, that Voltik or whatever was rated much higher but I'd take Peterman a 100 times over.
When Dooley arrived he had Simms. UT now has Bray, Worley, and Peterman.
Does anyone know when UT had 3 SEC quality talents at QB on the same roster last?

I'll give you Bray and Peterman but i'm still not sold on Worley. Not that impressive this season, even for a freshman. I wouldn't be surprised if Peterman ends up being the heir to Bray.
