SAN ANTONIO - Shaq Thompson said Monday after practice for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl that USC is no longer on his list. Apparently, after he posted on Twitter on Sunday night that he was seriously considering the Trojans, some followers questioned him.

He was not amused, and now the Trojans are out.

It is one thing to follow a twitter and some I just get their updates because they are retweeted by some of the writers. But some go way to far. Like with L Collins, LSU fans been on there bashing him for thinking about picking UA and bashing his GF on her twitter because they believe she is the reason he may decide for UA.

I do not think fans realize how much they actually hurt the staff by getting involved.

sorry Tw, you have been trolled by shaq

he is messing with folks, he never is.or was goimg anywhere other than Cal.

he was trolling hard when he told Farrell "USC"

and he's trolling again with this usc stuff

USC wasnt in it for his services and he was using USC's name to help him play the game



im not for the twitter interactions, but this is a sham

I couldn't agree more.

The only effect that will happen is a detrimental one. No one will persuade a player to come, only the opposite is possible imo.

The lesson is for VN to get on twitter, half pose as Bama fans and bash Collins for considering LSU, the other half as LSU fans and bash Collins for considering Bama.

I agree with you jay that Shaq is a drama junkie, and he probably never would have stepped in USC's locker rooms; however, i still think that twitter can be at least somewhat negative to a recruit's decision.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch that we get both of these guys.

Given proximity and family ties (to CALs program) I tend to agree, I4Jay, but with the recent coaching changes and a questionable Husky secondary I do believe that UW has a (long) shot.
