tell me about it.....

Pain meds have to be manufactured. MJ grows everywhere.
Pain meds are very addictive MJ not so much.
Pain meds have bad side effects MJ again not so much.
MJ has other uses than just pain.

And the worst offenders are my Christian friends. They always want to know how, as a Christian, I can be for it. I remind them that God says in the Bible He gave us Herbs as medicine and they just stare at me blankly.

He also gave us the opium plant so I assume you have no problem with opium.

I'll keep this short as we are way off topic.

I was on a mission trip about 10 years ago. They were using heroin to do surgeries because it was all they had.
God made a use for everything, even Opium.
If Someone wants to argue we should use Opium instead of Morphine I'm willing to listen.
To be clear as a recovering alcoholic I'm in favor of legalizing Medical drugs for medical use. I will leave the recreational use argument to people who wish to use them.

The latest CNN poll

CNN Poll: Romney on top, Gingrich fading & Santorum rising in Iowa – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Twenty-five percent of people questioned say if the caucuses were held today, they'd most likely back Mitt Romney, with 22% saying they'd support Rep. Ron Paul of Texas. Romney's three point margin is within the poll's sampling error.

The poll's Wednesday release comes six days before Iowa's January 3 caucuses, which kickoff the presidential primary and caucus calendar. The Iowa caucuses are followed one week later by the New Hampshire primary.

A new CNN/Time/ORC poll of likely primary voters in New Hampshire indicates that Romney, the former governor of neighboring Massachusetts, remains the front-runner, far ahead of his rivals for the GOP nomination.

In Iowa, both Romney and Paul are each up five points among likely caucus goers from a CNN/Time/ORC poll conducted at the start of December. The new survey indicates that Santorum, the former senator from Pennsylvania, is at 16% support, up 11 points from the beginning of the month, with Gingrich at 14%, down from 33% in the previous poll. Since Gingrich's rise late last month and early this month in both national and early voting state surveys, he's come under attack by many of the rival campaigns.

In New Hampshire, the CNN/Time/ORC poll indicates that Romney remains the overwhelming front runner. He's supported by 44% of likely GOP primary voters, up nine points from earlier this month.

Paul is at 17%, with Gingrich at 16%, down ten points from early December. Huntsman, who's hoping for a strong finish in the Granite State, is at 9%, with Santorum at 4%, Bachmann at 3%, and Perry at 2%.

Gingrich is in a free fall

Santorum rising? The ultra-socially-conservative Christians must be on the other end of the phones here. I've seen a total of ONE Santorum bumper sticker/yard sign...

He also allowed grapes to ferment, he allowed mushrooms to flourish from cow crap, he allowed coca leaves to jack you up, and he made cannabis grow like wildfire.

If I weren't an atheist, I'd say the big guy wanted us to party...

Responsibly.

I dunno... it just looked like a blurry sign in the yard ;)

Ron Paul everywhere, though. I've even seen more Gary Johnson signs than Santorum. Although, I do live in the second most liberal city in Iowa.

Good to hear Gary Johnson has a good showing out there, I would take him all day everyday over Santorum.

I like Huntsman more and more. I'm leaning towards him, but wouldn't mind seeing Paul either. If neither of those make it, I hope Johnson goes Independent. Just watching an interview with Huntsman, and they say he's not socially conservative. What isn't he socially conservative on?

Also, interviewers are so unprofessional, and Fox News truly is **** television. I would learn more watching Teen Mom. "Hard hitting questions." lol. Now Fox News is ranting that Ron Paul is ultra-liberal, and more in line with Obama than conservatives, worst thing to happen to conservatives in decades. lol. Changing the channel and never going back.

Unfortunately, it's what people want to hear.

Perry had another one of his moments.
He was at it again Wednesday, talking about the need to build the Keystone Xl pipeline that would link Canada’s oil sands development in Alberta with the U.S. Gulf Coast.

“Every barrel of oil that comes out of those sands in Canada is a barrel of oil we don’t have to buy from a foreign source,” Perry told a campaign stop in Clarinda, Iowa.

By the way, I'm sure he was talking about NATO, but dear Lord...

Perry will make Canada the 51st state.

Not sure what your asking. They are the same thing, biochemically.

I heard on the news last night that Gary Johnson will be running on the libertarian ticket .
