There you go. Obviously you know hummus can be a great "dip/spread" for almost anything.

Try some grilled green onions

Leeks

Endive

Broccoli

Cauliflower

Roasted peppers (red my choice)

Zucchini

Etc.

Flour tortillas and garlic toast points are my favorite but to meet your diet requirements, the veggies work better.

Hey Behr, guess what I'm snacking on while watching the Grizzlies home opener against the Thunder. Give up? Ok, TGI Friday's crispy green bean fries with, wait for it.....................wasabi ranch dipping sauce.

Whole wheat pita points are great too. And they are good for you.

Roasted chick peas are delish.

And my favorite sushi joint has a wasabi dressing that I would kill for. Care to share to share your thoughts about how to make it?

Yeah, and I would bet they don't use wasabi in it.

If nobody else asks, I'll come back in a minute and do it for you.

I'll ask...wtf was it?

Beef and chicken mexican bake

Ground meat
Chicken
Doritos
Cheese

Then bake it together

With mexican cornbread

For desert snicker doodle pie

Yeah, and I would bet they don't use wasabi in it.

I watch him mix it up, I just can't see everything he uses in it. He starts with a little soy sauce, then wasabi paste, then he gets something out of a big bowl. That's what I can't figure out.

Volly,

I said I bet they don't use wasabi because.....I wouldn't and mine would be better. Not arrogant just going by my taste. I've never been to Japan but I would expect them to use fresh horseradish root instead of wasabi paste or powder.

How I would make it?......

Fresh horseradish root shredded.
Mayo
Rice vinegar
Soy sauce
Sesame seed oil
Chopped edamame.

Maybe the edamame was what he was getting from the bowl?

The bowl contained something he already had mixed up. Iy looked like (just what I could see) soy, sesame seeds, chopped garlic, something that made it oily looking. lol I honestly have no clue what's in it. But he serves it as a dipping sauce for sushi and calls it wasabi dressing. It's dark and luscious.
