I wouldn't mind a Clinton Portis / Jamal Lewis backfield for the Skins..

Yeah they cut him because he would have counted against their cap significantly , however they will aggressively pursue him. Maybe he can go to Indy? I know , I know they have cap issues as well, but the thought of that is cool.

I saw this on some Ravens' website, it says Ravens would have to pay Lewis 5 million roster bonus at March, and also 5 million base salary next year if they chose to keep him . Obviously, he isn't worth this much money. So the best way is, cut him, and offer him a contract probably around 3 million/year, if he accepts it, good, if not, byebye.

The Jets are in need of a running back. My god I hope he doesn't go there. That turf would rip his knees apart.

He didn't do a terrible job with the Panthers. Unfortunately for him, Jake Delhomme had to battle injuries all year, coupled with just a down year in general; and Chris Weinke proved to be completely out of his league when he got the chance to start.
