I saw this and thought it would lift the Vols' spirits:

Sam Pennington interviewed Shelley Meyer with her daughter Nicki on The End Zones Extra show and asked her about her favorite road trips as a coach's wife. She said Tennessee and Kentucky were the ones she looked forward to the most.

Life as a Coach’s Wife: Interview with Shelley Meyer | The EndZones Extra – College Football News, Interviews, Videos & More!

"Boy, I'm going to get into trouble picking favorites. But I have to point out University of Tennessee because when we were at Notre Dame, we went to Tennessee and played there, and at that time that was the first stadium of over 100,000 I'd ever been in. It was the loudest place I'd ever been in my entire life. And actually, every time I've been back to Knoxville, I've loved Knoxville...I think it is beautiful there, their campus is beautiful, their stadium is amazing. They've got the river running through...so that's a really beautiful place."

Lumping us up with Kentucky makes me think that her rumored alcohol problem is true...

I'm surprised the Meyer family hasn't moved their family reunions to Knoxville as pleasant as their experiences have been there.

They have them at Jon Gruden's Maryville estate, didn't you know that?

Im trying to get Shell to move here with me, but she is staying in Gainesville I guess.

I think my wife would have mildly disappointed to lose me.
