Anyone hear JT the Brick on Fox radio just now? (I think that's who it is.)

This guy gives Bruce props for the great job he has done at Tennessee and then turns and takes a shot at the program.

"Bruce Pearl will be the next big hire. He has got to get out of Knoxville. There are at least 25 bigger programs out there than Tennessee."

"How about Bruce Pearl at Kentucky?", he says.

There were probably 100 bigger programs than Tennessee basketball two years ago but we are definitely top 25 on my list now. We can pay a coach top 25 money, we play in a power conference, and we are highly ranked in attendance. There are plenty of examples where a great coach has turned a dead end job at a school into a great job.

I try not to listen to people who call themselves things such as "JT the Brick"...

Well, Florida wasn't considered a top 25 job either until Kruger put them in the final four. The same will be true when Bruce takes us to the final four within the next few years.

There aren't many programs that can match the money UT can throw at Pearl. If Hamilton does let Bruce get away then he might as well be on the next plane out.

Plus, UT does have quite a bit of b-ball tradition. Second only to Kentucky in the SEC.

He obviously has not got past "Buzz Ball", as well as us just being a football school. He probably doesn't realize the type of funding our program is starting to get.. He also has no buisness talking about college basketball.. He really shows his ignorance when he starts talking about teams come tournament time..

Yeah, he didn't even call us a football school. He called us a women's basketball school. Eh, he's probably a Florida grad or lost money on the game tonight. :finger3:

With the backing that we have now -- as was evidenced by a packed house and the ceremonious atmosphere with Pat, Peyton, et al -- I'm pretty sure that money will be found for ol' Bruce if it has to.

JT the Brick got his job by being a nerd and a loser that called into the Jim Rome show every day. He lives on the west coast and is pretty much an idiot.

JT Brick is a sports shock jock. He says crap where you will get pissed. Like you have Freak.

In turn you call his show mad as hell and get passionate and he gets passionate. Which equals him raising his voice which leads to a lively show. All equals ratings.

I used to listen to those guys on Fox. I got over them. JT Brick is a goober from New York. Jorge Sedano loves Jorge Sedano and the NBA. Colin Cowherd is the only person I listen to anymore.

Colin Cowerd is on ESPN. i enjoyn his show most of the time.

i like Sedano. but FSR as a whole blows.

The key word here is "Fox".

Don't care what your politics are, if you think the Colbert Report, Mad TV, or anything from Fox is genuine news, then you need to pay more attention to why the U.S. ranks 26th in the world in Education.

Yeah Sedano is okay. I think it was Marcel and Karen that got on my last nerve. Their sports knowledge put together would fit in an extra large thimble.

I do like that morning show Steve Czban (sp). He's alright.
