Dang it - this is the Q. Davis thread. Rivals shows he has Wake scheduled for an OV on 1/13 followed by us on 1/20. Reel him in.

Got a feeling we are going to see some adds and subtracts by NSD.

There will be tons of moves between now and NSD for sure. I think it will be most interesting to see what players are effectively "cut" to make room for this class.

I really like the way this kid plays. Hunter will not be a sure thing to come back 100% so a WR like Davis or Patterson is a must for this class. Even if Hunter does regain his form next year, he will be gone to the NFL so getting either Davis or Patterson is something we have to do.

I'm not absolutely sure I would not rather have Davis than Patterson. Would love to get both, but we don't have room for both.

Hey J...is this O-D game the one at TX Stadium? Could u give me the details of date (jan30th?) and time? Which of our commits r gonna be there other than the ones u mentioned, and other than Davis any other guys that we r pursuing that will be there. Thanks man

Also r these type of games open to the public?

Haha you all are right. Amazing probably was a stretch. Might have jumped the gun there. I just don't like to admit I was wrong. But it was a very impressive catch though. Jumped up and attacked the football at it's highest point and made the play over the defender who had the better position.

I agree. It was definitely a good catch. Maybe I'm spoiled. When I hear "amazing" or "spectacular" from a HS recruit, I'm expecting leaping, one-handed grab in traffic, AJ Green in HS style.

I know star rankings dont matter, and everyone seems to think he is really good, the question is why do scout, espn, and 247 have him as a lowly 3 star? Rivals has him as 4 but not a high ranking 4 star. Why is he not a take for Clemson and or South Carolina?

Clemson and USCe are filled up on WRs. Both fanbases (for the most part) think that passing on Davis would be a huge mistake.

Yeah and he has come on stronger as more time passes. Really showing out at the Shrine bowl practices, etc.
