Weak NFL this Year?

I tend to hate it when people say, "this is a down year in college football" because it's pretty much impossible to compare 120 teams today to say 118 teams 5 years ago.

That being said, does anybody else think the NFL is down this year? It just seems like there are more big-name injuries than what is normal. I look at the top 3 teams in each conference and the only team who seems like they'd be top 3 any other year is GB.

My opinion may just be skewed by the fact that my 2 favorite players have combined for 1 quarter of football this season. What say ye?

I agree with this in the AFC, the AFC is really bad I think. I would say the NFC is really strong. Packers maybe best team ever, Saints, 49ers and Giants pretty strong.

Yeah, but all that means is there was one weak division last year.

The only thing i'll complain about is the ticky tack personal foul penalties. Seems to be a ton more of those this year.

Pretty much any good hit on a WR is going penalized. It doesn't matter if they lead with the shoulder and don't launch. They're calling it just about every time.

I'm just tired of seeing these massive passing numbers. I think it takes credibility away from the NFL a little bit. In my opinion, that makes me think the NFL is in a down year.
