I predict a aggresive style offense this year because of all the heat CPF has recieved and the way Pearl has turned around Bball. I think CPF sees this and will come more out of his shell on playcallin. I hope to see more tight end passing and more deep throws. What are your thoughts?

I can't believe you're serious. Just because Pearl has turned around the Basketball program doesn't mean Fulmer will decide to make his offense more aggresive. Think about it. If offense were to be more aggresive next year I think Cutcliffe would be the reason behind it. Maybe I'm just crazy, though.
There's a big chance that we see more passes goin' to the TE's because of the situation at WR.

IMO offense style is a moot point ...what is and should be the focal point on offense this spring is effective pass blocking and physical run blocking...''its about execution stupid.''....should be on the oline coaches desk.
Amen, Amen and Amen. It doesn't matter what offensive style you choose, physical play at the LOS will make any offense work.
You make a good point but if your own players don't understand the offense because its too complcated you look just as ragged. I think you utilize your strengths. I don't think the Vols strengths would be dealing with a thick playbook of formations and motion. I think the kind of players Tennessee usually fields are olinemen and backs that are comforatble with between the tackles smashmouth football and fast wr's to balance the offense with the pass threat. I think you can be successful and consistently move the chains by concentrateing on execution of a simple offense, as long as you execute. If you watched the Boise St vs Oklahoma game this year, there is a lot to be said for being unpredictable on offense and using different formations and plays that defenses don't often prepare for.
There's little doubt in my mind that Oklahoma had superior athletes, more speed, and more physical players.
IMO its difficult to execute 10-15 plays game after game that everyone practices against and is prepared for.
The difference between the 1st team in the SEC and the 4th team is small. a small edge is all a team needs.
For example, you can hand the ball off to the fullback, 40 times a game and then say you lost because the players didn't execute. Its true if the offensive line blocked like its drawn up on paper then the play should work if everyone is physical enough and executes.
IMO UT needs to be more unpredictable on offense. Different formations, different plays, make the defense second guess. Create a game plan that makes the defense confused. My 2 cents.
