SIAP many times before:
I've noticed over the last few months several posts from those in the recruiting forum basically condescending to those in the football forum.....posts like "this is why I don't spend time in the football forum" or "Oh no, they found us", etc. What gives? Why the hate? I mean, those of us in the football forum don't criticize those in the recruiting forum who's unbridled passion is to follow the daily whims of 16 and 17 year olds, do we? So why the upity attitude? Maybe this is a long standing war like the Jews and Palestinians that I'm just now coming around to, but someone help me out here. I'll open the mic up for comments

I post in both forums, and the recruiting one is way more civil than the football forum.

Both are about the same, it just depends on the time of year. The football forum is in meltdown mode during the season, and the recruiting forum melts down between December – Feb - check the Denico Autry thread for proof. Neither is really better than the other, but there seems to be a few more informed posters in the recruiting forum. Of course, the second they are wrong, they get blasted by the masses.

I come to the site for info about the team/recruits and for entertainment. You can usually get both in either forum.

This thread has nothing to do with UT football. Move to the pub where people get along.

Most people in the recruiting forum hope that most people who frequent the football forum would stay in the football forum. There's way too much bickering and rage on this side.

Seems like the recruiting forum is a bunch of back and forth on who has the best insider info, best player analysis, and a crystal ball on which recruit will lead us to the promise land or result in a bust. Usually turns into an argument which never happens on the football forum.

One of the reasons is that the ones on the recruiting forum back Dooley for the recruiting while the ones on the football forum are critical for his coaching.
