I'm hearing SCjr from the better sources on ITG but he's going to take all his visits before he decides. UF is going in-home with the entire O coaching staff Thursday so they should have a complete understanding about the "lies" atp.

I knew that. It just sounds weird hearing a comment like that from an instate kid that was p'ed off at us for not offering before he committed to UF. That is the first nice thing he has said about us throughout his recruitment.

I wasn't directing the statement toward you..Davis is just being playing up his beef with UF in the media. Had some nice things to say about FSU and Miami also. Kid has so much growing up to do. I understand why the staff was after Marshall....standup kid.

story is he was told he would be the guy by Chump, but they were still recruiting RB's... seems many think it was not just the recruiting thing but the fact he felt like he was lied to????? who knows, it's recruiting

How was he going to be the guy at UF and they have Matt Jones? I think he was told that was it, but they still were pursuing other backs. Marshall issue was enough to send him to UT for a visit. The UF staff needs to patch things up if they want him. The miss on Marshall was a big deal. Backs are jockeying for position and were they are going. That's a reason Gurley backed off UGa and added NCSt, he knew where Marshall was going, and they will not be at the same school. UGa has ignored the in-state Davis all this time and know wants to offer, is silly. No way his family will let him even sniff that idea. SC visit is pushed back because of ACT testing, and now CJG is at UT. That visit might not happen.

Mike Davis is the top uncommitted RB prospect in the 2012 class. Graham is going to be all over this guy.

would be pretty sweet to have a tandom of mike davis and marlin lane to go along with justin hunter and darick rogers after he gets his head out of his ass i do think if davis comes here he is the starting guy from day one and i usually dont think that of too many freshman

You really want a "Pick your poison" offense. I would love to see a set with Rogers, Hunter, Arnett, Howard and Patterson on the field, with Bray as QB, and a backfield with Davis and Lane in it. I mean, who do you cover, and how do you cover them?? Impossible.

Now, if only the staff thinks he's the guy starting from day one and, most importantly, if Davis himself thinks he's the guy starting here from day one. Both of these seem inevitable, but it's sometimes hard in getting a real grasp on what some recruits are looking for. This guy's recruiting has been a bit ambiguous to say the least.

Marlin's going to be a solid back imo. He showed flashes of being a really good back this year. He will need some help though, take care of biz CJG

i agree i just think that davis is more of a down hill runner but just sayin would be one hell of a rb tandom

I feel like when was able to get to the second level he was still afraid to make those hard cuts with his knee. I hope he gets a little more confident over the off season.

Sounds perfect to me.

I think Elston is the most likely out of those three.

Wouldn't change a name on there.

However, if we have any more spots, I would hope Merideth, Shanks, McCullers, Cochran would fit in there.

But that list that you just named is ideal.

Add Meredith, and it will be one of the best recruiting classes in recent memory.

i think patterson goes to ga and meredith stays at nc and bivins stays with usf cause of his twin i think we end up with
