RUMOR: Da'rick indefintely suspended?

lol. Of course DR is not on the active roster. He's the only guy who contributed on offense this year (see Janzen last year). Seriously, our football program is a blackhole of never ending disaster. I've never seen anything like it. It just does not stop.

It's a curse. Has to be a curse. It's unbelievable.

LOL, how convenient. "We are suspending you, but you won't miss any games, practices, mandatory bowl meetings, etc."

Give me a break. This is pathetic........you guys know it.

I actually agree with you. I get flamed on here almost daily for calling DR what he is.. evidently he can earn his way back on the roster. Which of course he will and people will keep being naive around here.

I just found this video of Chaney in the background....

A picture of Da'Rick Rogers after delivering the deathblow to Dooley. He was standing on one of the tables in the locker room complex.

Vols_Beat Multiple sources indicating Da'Rick Rogers could be looking at a Janzen Jackson situation -- not technically a suspension or a dismissal.

When does a lack of leadership stop reflecting on just the players, and start reflecting on the coaching staff? So far for the 2 off seasons we have had Dooley, we have had 2 coaches leave because they didn't work well with other coaches. Now persistant rumors spread about a divide between upper classmen and under classmen.

At some point you have to look at the HC and say, sometimes it's not about whether you are winning and losing. You can't lead this group of men.

It is becoming increasingly clear that Dooley's ineptitude is not limited to coaching. I really want to see him succeed, but I would rather see Tennessee succeed.

This is like raising kids. They act up and you have to grab their attention. Sometimes you have to take away something very personal to them to get it.

I'm guessing DR will be catching plenty of balls in Neyland next year.

If anyone has a 247 subscription, I kinda want to know what's in this: ***Da'Rick Rogers update, Friday 3:00 p.m.***

Update on Da'Rick from very, very high-level source at UT.

Da'Rick might not technically be suspended — at least they're not calling it that — but he's effectively suspended from the active roster. He can earn his way back, kind of like the Janzen Jackson situation, but this is a different situation. To be honest, Da'Rick's problems are more malicious than Janzen's.

More in a bit.

I'm told this was a move aimed at improving team chemistry and accountability.

Yep but sometimes it doesn't work. Nobody wants to see any kid throw there future away and we may be witnessing it.

I don't know, Bruin. If he just slapped Dooley in the face, I think you just do let him go a tropical island and "collect his thoughts." But, if he hit with a closed fist, or used any professional wrestling moves such as but not limited to the following: body slam, power bomb, DDT, hit Dooley with a folding chair, figure four, sharpshooter, scorpion deathlock, or a tombstone, I think D. Rogers will probably have to be dismissed.

You left out a Pedigree, Sweet Chin Music, Stone Cold Stunner, a 619, a STFU, Clothesline from Hell, Cobra Clutch, Indian Death Lock, Sleeper, a Rock Bottom, and a Steiner Recliner.
