I miss my old elementary school. I miss Miami Vice on TV. I miss sleeping all day, blowing off class and drinking beer while watching cartoons. I have no need to go back to those days. Bruce will recruit a better player and move on.

If he's so in love with Dane's game, why doesn't he recruit another 6'4" guy who can't run, jump, or shoot?

Really, what is he suppose to say. He's a salesman. That's how he's turned this program around so fast. He majored in marketing. He's very articlulate. He knows what to say to put the fire in all UT fans. So do you actually think he's going to say that Dane is not performing and that I wish I had a decent player to take his spot? We all know that Passley sucks also, but still don't hear Pearl saying it. Only positive statements. I'm willing to bet he doesn't miss him to much next year when we get Tatum and Prince to replace Dane. I guarantee we won't be worrying about making the dance. First elite 8 team in UT history.

johnny....we dont have anyone who can start in front of him because none of the other guards can guard post players....thats one reason he is still in...and i doubt he is the only one that almost cost us the lsu game...i dont think dane himself has lost 9 games....basketball is a team game man...SC just hit everything and we couldnt buy a basket when we needed it most....not all Danes fault...he is valuable to the team....ask any of them...

I will agree that SC wasn't Dane's fault. I think the turning point in the game was when we were down by 2 with the ball and Crews gets a T. Were's the senior leadership for these freshmen? Where's the glue? We lead the country in Ts. I just don't see what good he does. We say he has heart and hustles, I just see bad playing. I also saw an LSU player shoot 6 straight free throws because of Danes inability to box out. He messed up on 5 attempts to box out in the game. He also went 1-9 in the game with only one assist. If we would have lost the game, then yes I would say that he lost the game.

What is your problem? Why are you following me around on every thread saying "I smell Blaker"? Can I not have an opinion? There's alot of others on here that do not agree with you either. If anyone in orange had 2 more points we win. If anyone in orange gets a defensive rebound instead of giving up second chance points we win. Don't play the if game.

As for Dane. The kid has more heart than everyone else on the team combined. But heart isn't on the stat sheet so I can understand based on his play why his minutes should be limited.

It would be poor judgement for Pearl not to start Dane the rest of the season. Dane gave his all for UT, we owe him respect and gratitude.

The Mods and Admin have his IP as long as there is a thread about that has one of his posts in it(at least, that's how it works on phpbb). This is different, but I'm sure access to IP is available to them. They can ban his IP if they want to. I doubt it's him.

I willing to bet Dane would tell you that he is not pleased with his performance so far during his Senior year. I'd say he is extremely upset with it. I think it's affecting him mentally. It's not just the stats lately, he is making mistakes that a senior guard shouldn't make. I get more frustrated with his play each game because it seems that it's getting worse. I just think one game coming off the bench could help.

Right now, I'm spending a few years as a stay-at-home dad to a two-year-old while my wife does the work thing. One of the things I've added to my life to compensate for the upheavals of fatherhood is a draft Guinness system in my kitchen.

Drinking beer and watching cartoons on Friday afternoon is the best thing about my week.
