Happy B-Day, TVG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have fun, don't let the UT ruin your day!!!!!
Feeling like something the cat coughed up today. I actually slept thru the game, which might be for the best, but is something I never do. Today might be a not-leave-the-house day.
Happy Birthday TVG! Sorry the Vols couldn't add to it, but I'm sure it will be a great day anyway. Women are like a fine wine, they just get better with age.
Young players don't always know how to "want it". They come in and see a long journey ahead of them, Filled with opportunity. They don't have the maturity, in their athletic career, to realize that every play is the last play. Losses like today, while they suck, teach that lesson in the only way that it can ever be taught. Most young players have upperclassman, many, as rolemodels to teach them the way and the will to win. Your young vols are flying blindly, but know that being in that locker room after that loss today, and seeing those seniors and their raw emotions did more to help your program than a ****ty bowl game And a win over a crappy football team would ever do.
Thanks guys. And another THANK YOU to everyone else who wished me a Happy Birthday earlier.
I really did let the game affect my mood for about an hour afterwards, but then I just told myself there are too many things to be thankful for. It would be selfish to keep pouting.
I'm a very blessed girl with a wonderful family, sweet friends, health (not counting last week), a job, a home, and a Savior who loves me. I thank God for all of it. I'm also thankful for those of you who have been so kind since I started posting in this forum.
:huggy:
TVG, happy birthday hate that we didn't get the win for you. Hope you are having a good day, otherwise.
Kat, very impressed by most KY fans. I won't say good game because honestly, it was the ****tiest game of football I've ever watched. But you guys played better and deserved the win.
Tri, you ended up sitting literally a row or two from my parents.
I was very proud of how I worked the scalpers. I did good for such a shy guy.
The family behind me were great people and great representatives of their university.
The streak had to end sometime. Rather it be this year than next when we are hopefully making an SEC run.
This guy got in my face and was saying how much UT sucked. Even though he was spot on, my reply was you have 26 new years to remember your this win.
Nope, never did. Took the other family out to Keeneland and through horse country, but never went to KHP. Dinner at Malone's took three hours and by then we were just so tired.
