If Ainge plays even a little better

I don't know enough about Michigan history to say with any certainty who their all-time best DB is, but Ty Law seems to have been better in the NFL. Regardless, he was a really good defensive player, but the fact that he is the lone Heisman-winning defender makes it seem as if he is the greatest football player to ever line up on defense.

Not really. I think Deon Sanders was a better db than Woodson. All him winning means is that he was the most outstanding player that year, and I think he was. The best DB, and the biggest game changer on the national championship squad. Now, a db would never have a shot, but I guess it was possible in 1997.

Really goin out on a limb there...

Ainge will really prove his salt this year. I believe at the end of the year he will be one of the better QB's in the nation.

Fine dude. Name 5 QB's in the SEC better than him.

UK, UF, UT, UGA, LSU, and Aub will all have QB's with more talent than Mitchell. His success will be within Spurrier's system, not because he has great talent.

He isn't even the most talented QB on your team.

We aren't talking about talent. I specifically said 5 QB's RIGHT NOW that are BETTER than him. Mitchell is better than Matt Flynn right now who has only started 1 game for LSU in his career. I would not pick UT's Ainge over Mitchell bc I believe when they are both at their best, they are equal. Cox is an average QB surrounded by loads of talent. And I wont even mention Tebow from UF bc Mitchell right now is better. BTW Mitchell is a very talented QB. Most people tend to forget he was an Elite 11 QB out of high school.

I would rather have all QB's you mentioned over Mitchell.

I definately wouldnt want Cox, but otherwise, based solely on last year, I'd take Ainge 1st and Mitchell 2nd. Of course, last year doesnt matter because it was last year. Stafford and Tebow certainly have the potential to blow by Mitchell, as does Flynn/Periloux at Lsu. And Ainge, well, we just dont know how losing his top three receivers will affect him...same with Mitchell losing Rice.

I know, I know, tons of talent coming in. But theyre freshmen...we might have a Percy Harvin, or we might have Lenard Scott. Right now, you just dont know.

So I said Sanders was better than Woodson and you say going out on a limb there, then agree with me?

If you have read any of my other posts it is very apparent that I agree with you.

Really, was just giving you a hard time because like I said Deion Sanders is in a completely different league than Charles Woodson and always will be....:salute:
