Mike Leach would take the UT coaching job in a quickness, and do quite well I
Believe. He made a name for himself lighting up score boards in Lubbock for 10 years. No reason he couldn't do it with the resources at Tennessee.

Although I am not a fan of Leach, he would do better than Dooley is.

I am not on the "Fire Dooley" bandwagon. I hope he does well here. I have just always liked Mike Leach's style of offense. He did well at Texas Tech. Which is not an easy accomplishment long term.

I was really hesitant about firing Fulmer, but I am not sure this is true.
Last year was a better chance. But this year we would have lost 3 at least (LSU, Bamer, and Arky), meaning that even if we beat Georgia the Bulldogs would still have won the East.

UT fired the greatest coach it ever had or will have

I am now in support of firing to Dooley. He lost to Kentucky. Worst loss ever for this program. And yes, I'm aware of Wyoming.

A Perry, Bachmann, or Cain Adminstration will do better? Dooley is either our Mike Shula where we get a Great coach after his tenure or he is our Larry Coker where Vol football will be worse. Always a Vol but this lost can't be tolerated! Why on the boot, our guys turned their heads like the QB was going to throw? Wildcat inside the 20? Vol football still going through an uphill battle.

I was a real big supporter of Dooley. He came here and said all the right things. My opinion started to change after the South Carolina game when he chose an onside kick after halftime when it was 7-3. Since then I have noticed some poor coaching decisions (maybe some didn't cost TN the game) but did not put the team in a position to win. He fails at the basic fundamentals of coaching. The mistakes we make are not hustle mistakes they are lack of coaching the players. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of field position either. He takes un-necessary risks.

I'll probably get killed for this but I'm not sold in firing Dooley yet. Yes he's lost the games he's supposed to lose and won the games he was supposed to win except this one, but the loss today wasn't just the coaches fault. Considering our abysmal recruiting from 2007-2009 and our instant gratification fanbase we're not exactly a hot deal to available coaches, Alabama and Florida were much better off when Saban and Muschump stepped in. Not to mention if we did let him go we would have to be paying him off. This upcoming year with experienced players is going to be the determining factor.
