Rumors about Coker

Your kidding right? As if we held a gun to your head and said "READ THRU THIS THREAD OR DIE!"

That is a highly intelligent reply. The all caps goes a long way to emphasize your extremely witty response. Nobody made me read through the thread. But, if you read my post you would understand my problem was that the thread had a theme (a possible problem with our best RB) that was something I was i interested in. I wanted to know further information about the topic of the thread. And, found NONE but yet 4 pages of randomness.

PS-I just contributed another post.

Go back and read your first post in here. You came off very arrogant and pretty much made it sound like we made you read the entire thread...

Also, I find it funny that numerous people had things to say along the lines of what I did yet you chose to pull out only one...:good!:

hed love that...we love them running backs that fumble on the 5 yard line

Pretty stupid thing to say. Do you think he did that on purpose? Before you start to criticize someone for giving full out effort and making a mistake, realize that it is easy for you to sit in the stands and play monday morning quarterback.
If Coker isnt going to class, his fault. I think he is a great RB but I dont want another Morley or God forbid and Maurice Clarrett(sp) type that thinks he is bigger than the program.

If the Oline coach and can dump the zone blocking and go back to what worked before, Coker's attitude will be much better. Hard to have a great attitude as a back looking at a team photo as you take the handoff, I'm thinkin.

No we don't...

I just love this, the poster who gives no reason why or anything to back up what they say...

We have Arian, Hardesty and Creer...Creer was a way more sought after recruit than Coker was, just wait if for some reason he isn't around watch Creer step up...he will be better than Coker mark it down...

Ironic, isn't it?

You're right, no need to actually have expectations for these guys. He knew the consequences before he made the mistake.

If anything you should be "disgruntled" at Coker for not fulfilling his obligations to his school and team.
Right on.... i agree 100%,nobodys fault but cokers!

Actually, Coker was the 2nd or 3rd rated RB by Rivals or Scout (can't remember which) when he came out.

If he's disgruntled he didn't play more as a true freshmen I think he has a pretty good case. In hindsight, that was a mistake.

If he's disgruntled that he has to make the grade, thats another can of worms.

In either case, if he's not going to class, its a matter of time before he flunks out. This is very bad news.

He was injured his freshman year.

This is from Fostermom on the InsideTennessee boards.

"the RB situation...if you want to call it that. But since I've been quoted from another board, I would prefer that the information come directly from me.

This is precisely why I don't like rumors and innuendos. Nothing anybody says should be taken as fact. Things change constantly and none of us know how it will all shake out. And none of us (and I do mean none of us) knows what's going on inside that team unless we are a coach or player. Period.

All I do know is that LaMarcus lost his grandfather a couple of weeks ago and left to be with his family. So of course he wasn't available to run with the team. And I know he has a class with Arian and was there. I also resent the implication of Arian or Montario wanting to transfer. This sort of crap makes me livid. Beyond that, I refuse to speculate on anything else.

My suggestion is that we don't count LaMarcus out of anything. And I also suggest we don't turn on him or Arian or Montario. I realize this is a "what have you done for me lately" business...but these kids continue to give all they've got to this team and this university and I think the attitude some have that is quick to turn on them is bothersome."

Not to link us away, but if you want to read it at the source its found here InsideTennessee.com Forums
