Yep you are right. Manning only sells in Tennessee and to rubes.
I might have to check but I think he rules in merchandise sales all over! You can hate on him all you want but he is the biggest thing in teh NFL period. If Brady could get a commercial out of the Boston area he would. He did for a while you might remember it was for the same credit card company PM does for. It didn't sell hate. Why? Oh I get it, they must only advertise in Tennessee. Keep trying. :whistling:

What I love is how knobs who have little success and probably got picked on growing up find a way to get in to the legal world and think they are big boys now. You must have gotten the girl you had a crush on but couldn't get taken by a QB or another stud in your highschool.

Brady sells high end suits, high end watches, and luxury automobiles. Manning sells things people can pay for after their checks arrive on the first of the month. Brady does more than a couple of national campaigns. You just haven't seen them because they appear in magazines other than Field & Stream or Popular Mechanic.

No he doesn't sell to the masses or he would be doing them still. He tried and no deal. The thing about the market place is it doesn't lie and shows no favorites. You either sell or you don't. Brady would kill to have the marketability of PM. So would his agent. You arguing this tells me you just want to argue. I know you know better.

I find it funny when semiliterate rubes try to run down the legal profession. I'm sorry the best you could do was some low level degree. You probably did all you could with your limited intellectual resources. At least you were out there catching the short bus to school every day. Be proud of that.

I'm not meaning to run it down. You guys have done a great job insuring the necessity of your profession. I have to have some of your colleges on staff and actually enjoy a couple of them being around. So don’t cry.

The funny part of your posts is that you're from East Tn (or I thought that's what you had posted) and yet you feel the need to try and distance yourself from Tn and be more like the thug worshiping fans fo the U. Be proud of who you are and where you're from.

The market does show favorites. For example, Allen Iverson has sold more shoes and jerseys than Manning can ever dream of. Why would Brady want to demean himself to whoring for second rate, mass population Bubba companies. He can do ads for Baume and Mercier, Aramani, and companies of that ilk. Also, let's talk about what really matters. Brady's women are a list of supermodels and scorching actresses. Manning is married to some chick he met in college. Manning hangs with Kenny Chesney. Brady rolls with Jay-Z.

Ranking 9th or 10th nationally in 3rd down conversions is good. Top 10 finishes in a field of over 100 is something to be proud of. I never, ever said that that wasn't good enough, but you took it to mean something I didn't intend.

If UT's conversion % against UF was 60%, what could you say then? Well, you could infer that the offense did enough to win, but the defense failed. If it was below 48.9% you could infer that too many 3 and outs kept UF's offense on the field.

Apparently he doesn't, but I'm curious about this, too. Every rational person here realizes that you're simply asking for third down conversion% in particular games. I don't see what's wrong with that, but whatever I guess.

UF game: 6 of 13 3rd downs converted
LSU game: 5 of 13 (with Crompton in for most of those)
Ark game: 4 of 13 (again with Crompton playing)
Penn St. game: 6 of 13

But why look only at losses? Georgia was 2nd in the nation in 3rd down defense and we converted 7 of 12 on them.

Thanks for the numbers. :good!:

We're not just looking at the losses and realize on the whole UT was pretty successful on 3rd down this season. I, along with the original poster of the quetsion, was just curious how UT fared in the losses to see if that could've been an indicator of why UT lost.

I was actually surprised by the 3rd Down % against Florida. Seemed like it was much worse.

does anyone actually the stats on who sells the most jerseys? i know for a fact two years ago peyton wasn't even in the top 5. it was moss, brady, vick and i forget the last two, just knew it was peyton.
