Miami is a fun visit for any kid, especially when it is first class and on someone else's dime. But Miami poses zero threat to land Jacobs because they are going to get slobberknocked by the NCAA. Assuming they survive, they almost certainly will have significant reductions in scholarships, no post season bowls, and quite possibly be banned from TV for a year or two.

No JUCO would go into that, especially before the outcome is clarified.

Jacobs is solid to us. He helped up recruit Autry. And is working on Sentimore too. The more time passes the more i really think we are getting those 3.

Jacobs is going to UM for fun and to respect his DC.

From Rivals.... Well, it appears the Gators will have at least one official visitor for the Furman game. JUCO DT and Tennessee commit Damien Jacobs just told me he will be taking his official visit to Florida the weekend of the Furman game. It is his only official visit planned right now.

Some reason I have a bad feeling about this guy now. I mean was Florida even on this guys radar and now he is taking a visit.

You think FSU fans might have felt the same way about Tim Jernigan last year? I'm not saying Jacobs doesn't have legitamite interest in Florida, but I think we'll be ok.

What is the date EE's have to sign? None of these JUCO's are locks until they sign. Luckily, he isn't going for a huge game. The Furman atmosphere won't be much better than MTSU, especially with the season UF is having.

I think we are fine too b/c we have more room at DT for immediate playing time. One of UF's DT positions is 3 deep next year. They have 4 SEC caliber DT's ready to play next year and have 2 signed in this years class.

He's going to enjoy a trip to Florida in mid to late November like every other 18 year old kid if they could.
