Jeremy Mayfield

Dude is f'ed up.

His stepmother looks pretty trashy but he accused her of lying about his meth use and went as far as claiming she killed his father. Looks like she was telling the truth about his drug addiction and I highly doubt the "gold digging whore" is capable of pulling one over on a forensic team.

Mayfield is letting meth ruin his life and it's clearly destroying his brain. How he made it so long as a driver is beyond me. He seems like one of those people that will throw away relationships and do whatever it takes to cover up his drug use so he can continue getting his fix

It is really sad. He was a good driver too. I hope he gets the help he needs.

Jeremy: "What do I do now?"

His attorney: "Tell em you found God."

He has 5 wins to his name on a variety of tracks. There are worse out there. Bayne for instance.

Nothing against Bayne, I just never bought into the hype after the 500.

Compared to Brian Vickers.

i'd rank them about the same. neither ever blew me away.

first, he has 433 starts and 5 wins. he's not very good.

second, Bayne has a handful of starts with a second rate team. it's a little early to compare the two, or write Bayne off.

Just saying, you could do a lot worse than Mayfield. Kyle Petty has over 800 starts and 8 wins.

Wait did I just argue that KP was good? Oh dear.

Argument redacted.

I am stating this as fact and nothing more: Mayfield has been running a scrap yard, stripping copper, etc., on his property.

Jenna Fryer
More from #Mayfield attorney: "Mr. Mayfield understands that the purpose of the search was to seize allegedly stolen property and that the investigators claim to have seized methamphetamine from his home. Mr. Mayfield has no knowledge of either stolen property or methamphetamine being present on his property and denies the accusation that he was in possession of methamphetamine or any other illegal drug and he denies any suggestion that he knowingly received or possessed stolen property."
