I saw on Sports Science where Drew Breese was throwing and they broke down everything to see why his balls were so accurate. Come to find out, a football needs some wobble to be most accurate, and DBs footballs had just enough. The tightest spiral on a football doesn't mean its gonna be more accurate.

There is a Travis Henry joke to be had from that first sentence, but I'll let it go.

Is this observation from the past couple weeks or just since he has been here?[/QUOTE

I just hope they are practicing with first team defense and throwing blitz at him over and over so he can get use to SEC and game simulation speed.

To put up a SEC defense and let it blitz Worley over and over to get him use to game simulation speed.

We do OK for the first half. So hope they can at least practice for twenty minutes at a high level.

Tight, fastball spirals to receivers are overrated, expecially in college. The ability to catch the ball is not as good as pro. Look at all the drops our WR's had this year. The ball arriving in the right place at the right time and being catchable is far more important. I'm more concerned with the WR's being focused and looking for the ball quickly. They haven't helped either Bray or Sims at times this year. It will take Worley a while to figure out which guys he trusts to be where they are supposed to and make the catch. Once he does we are going to like what we see.

Peyton Manning says spirals are over rated.

Ive seen peyton throw some ugly passes, but make no mistake about it, peyton has a LASER. The scout that said Leaf had a "Stronger" arm, is Freaking STUPID!! He made some throws that made me just shake my head. Hes that good. But I know you guys already know that. lol

Haha, bray is better left handed then simms is right handed.

My point exactly. The guy is saying if he couldn't throw etc. he wouldn't be here. Simms is here and can't throw. He has no problem throwing to anyone not wearing orange though.

Against this ball hawk defense we're playing Saturday, he better be able to put a little mustard on it. If not it could be a long day for the young man.

i know peyton personally... have for years, and he thinks that tight spirals are incapable of leading us to a championship and will be gone by the end of the year....

oh wait, i thought we were doing smokyvol impressions.... my bad
