So we cant slam a coach here?

Go for it. You just look like a fool. This is such a broken record on here but somehow people aren't picking up on it.

Saban, Meyer, and Chizik walked into way better situations than Dooley did. It's an apples to oranges comparison.

Fulmer had more players drafted in the last two years than Tommy Tuberville. Saban didn't have any players drafted his first year. TN needs a top 5 recruiting class sooner than later to compete in the SEC.

You can only tell them so many times. At some point the player must take the onus. They admitted as much last week. How old you address rhe quitting issue? Play walk ons?

Why the hell not? You are getting drubbed one way or another. At least the guys that never play will show some damn heart.

Ok. So you say put in scrubs when we missed the 4 down in the third?

Right now it's a no win situation because he will get the roster built up with second rate talent. So it isn't going to matter if the new guy takes over 2 months from now or 3 years from now, he is going to inherit crap.

Ah, so this is the post where you demonstrate that there's not much use discussing this with you because it's entirely a personal thing about Dooley. His recruiting classes are fine.

Well you are completely off the mark. I have nothing personal with Dooley, don't know the man.

Fine will never cut it.

For all those who think Dooley is not the answer, tell us you think we should bring in and will succeed

Leach for one! A proven winner! Percentage wise!!! And in a Big conference

TT won eight or more games only twice in 23 seasons before Leach. They won at least that many eight times in Leach’s 10 seasons.

I like Leach but He has said several times he's taking a few years away before He comes back to coaching.
I bet he's tired of the politics of a major coaching job.
Where is Leach coaching now? (rhetorical question)
Who else do you want?

Worley should have been in immediately right there. The defense should have been taken into the locker room and beaten after the next two Alabama possessions.

Just casually. Casually enough to know he is not bringing in the talent on the level the monsters in this conference get.
Thus, it is second rate.

The guys that Dooley is bringing in are just young right now. We have definitely have some talent in the classes that Dooley has brought in. We're just not very deep or experienced right now.

we should have right right around a top 10 class. bama is dominating like you would expect they would. other than that were not that much behind the other teams if you look at in just in stars.

Depends on whether they are addressing positions of need.

I agree but we did get d lineman linebackers. We need help at every position so you can't go wrong with getting talent. I'm not saying he is going to win a NC but he is getting us rebuilt. The impatience of our fan base is laughable.

Agree in Worley. But you can't blame the coaches for players not answering the call. If we had depth then I say yank them.
