Most of my travel golf is Myrtle Beach, Santee, Florida. Maybe one day I'll get out that way. I just hope to keep it on the course when I tee it again.

I had that problem most of the year. Got a different driver about 6 weeks ago that won't hit anything but a straight shot.

Where can I get one of those?.... I generally drive the ball pretty well. I have no idea what's gonna happen after the surgery and 6 month layoff

If you're normally good off the tee, you'll not need this one. It's a Callaway FT 9. The driver plus switching to a Bridgestone e6 golf ball greatly improved my game this year.

Check out Golf Vacations, Packages and Travel to the USA and Europe - GOLFPAC next time you travel. They can book times (at most places) months in advance and have a staff that actually has been to the places they offer.

I have hit an FT 9 that my friend has. Had a different sound on impact to me. It was a very nice club but being a 10 degree I couldn't tell much. I normally hit an 8 or 8.5. How is the e6 around the green?

Mine is 13 degrees. Extreme, I know, but it does the job for me. e6 is nowhere near as good as the e5 around the greens. My golf buddy plays the e5 mostly because of the feel around the greens. Either ball is good off the tee. e7, as well. I think it's a great ball for the money. I'm paying $20/dozen for them. More expensive ball wouldn't help my game any.
