Dane Bradshaw

Yeah, look at all the recent NCAA tournament winners. Those teams were just populated with a bunch of Bradshaw types. No stars on those teams. I wish you would take your basketball brilliance and get a job recruiting for a rival SEC school. That would be one less team we would have to worry about.

did you play ne where? or are you one of those fans that knows everything, even more than the coach, but never played or had anything to do with the game?

I'll guarantee you I'm far more plugged into D-I basketball than you could ever hope to be. I guess the fact your theory was exposed as the silliness it is has caused you to attempt to change the subject. By the way, it's Friday, shouldn't you be trolling for a date or preparing for a big Guitar Hero tournament? Tell me again, what D-1 school did you play for?

A starving man holds Spam in high regard. Bruce had stated that he would not have recruited Bradshaw. He isn't the quality of athlete Pearl wants on the floor. Bruce praises and plays Bradshaw out of necessity. If Tyler Smith had come to UT, Bradshaw would be sitting next to Tanner Wild.
I can't argue that....let's just hope he has a "sell-out"game on saturday.
P.S. Have you gone home or are you waiting until it settles down after the hoopla? Maybe renting out the "casa del hat" for a "diddy party"?

Hey Hat, arguments can be won without displays of arrogance ... try it sometime :) Your opinions may be better received too!

Hell, that's why I look for his posts. It took me several arguements and about six months, but it would sure be boring w/o his arrogant condescension. As you can see we disagree about lots, and I hope saying this does'nt buy me a respite from his ire. His spiteful comments to me are my favorites.....and by the way Hat you were VERY "nice" about my "soul of the team" remarks. I expected more of a ripping. I know you are holding back. Review my comments real quick like and give me my friday venom fix. I'm signing off soon so "Go Peyton......quarterback of all quarterbacks".......that ought' do it !! :neener:

All state baseball player in high school, passed on scholarship offers from ETSU and UT-Martin, among others, to accept an academic scholarship at UT. Received my BA and JD from UT. Would you like to know my favorite color or my preference in soft drinks?

Hat, in seriousness, did you take any courses from Neil Cohen when getting your JD at UTK? I hung out with his son quite a bit in high school...

I would consider that, if I actually cared how my opinions were received. However, I don't. Therefore, I'll stick with my style.

have ya'll played sports before? this guys is as valuable as chris lofton for the simple fact that when our young guys start panicing and turning the ball over, he can bring the ball up the court, he can play any position on the floor. he does the little things, he's never been a big scorer.

Spoken like a true commentator. Maybe you could be the next Billy Packer (he's a genius ya know).

Professor Cohen taught my Evidence class. I actually received one of my highest law school grades from him.

While I disagree with hat about one's experience needing to be D1 to understand and comment, but I am in 100% agreement regarding Dane (per my earlier comments) and his ability to contribute at the D1 level. Now that we're back on topic, let's get off of this commentator buzzword special kick about hustle and leadership and glue and find a solution that makes us better either offensively or defensively or both.

Sweet. I know you had mentioned Mr. Balloff before in previous posts, so I wondered if you had crossed paths with Neil, too. Quite a few "members of the tribe" teach at UT and/or are boosters there.
