I went to college on a fb scholarship and played b-ball, so yes I have. I think he is valuable but if he's not scoring and turning over the ball (5 last game) then that means he's not playing good. He's had such a good assist to turnover ratio, which has made him so valuable, but he's had too many turnovers lately.

Yeah, look at all the recent NCAA tournament winners. Those teams were just populated with a bunch of Bradshaw types. No stars on those teams. I wish you would take your basketball brilliance and get a job recruiting for a rival SEC school. That would be one less team we would have to worry about.

I wasn't asking where anyone played. I was simply saying that unless it was at the SEC level in basketball, it isn't relevant to this discussion.

The biggest school that offered me for football was Ohio U. then just I-AA, Furman, UTC and Appy St. I went to Austin Peay cause the coach told me a bunch of great stuff I wanted to hear during recruiting so I went there. But in a big shock he lied about a lot just to get me there.

I agree with that, but it doesn't take someone who played at a high level to see that Dane just isn't playing good or doing the "little things" right now.

I think that's what Hat was saying. Take it a little further. You probably wouldn't have ever had to play any sport to see it.:thumbsup:

Put it this way....if Bruce considers holds Dane in the high regard that he does, then you are a FOOL to question that. It's the same way in every endeavor(business,military,ect.). Ther are some guys that are special and you can't put a finger on it....that's why they call them intangables, and if you can't see it I'm glad you're a poster not a coach. Please, no offense to anyone here. I usually love to hear all opinions, but I hate that this good question turned into a debate about who is the "soul" of this team. Bruce knows....and he has heralded him as such.

Well hat....you do have a point, but I'm sure Bruce is.....in private. There is so much we don't know and I for one definately want Dane mixing it up on saturday from beginning to end (and I don't think you are saying otherwise...just hoping he is being counciled is very valid...because, he will respond:crossfingers:

A starving man holds Spam in high regard. Bruce had stated that he would not have recruited Bradshaw. He isn't the quality of athlete Pearl wants on the floor. Bruce praises and plays Bradshaw out of necessity. If Tyler Smith had come to UT, Bradshaw would be sitting next to Tanner Wild.
