Trying to Ruin Running Through the "T"!

Big deal. I've seen us on the road run out in the middle of pregame in at least 3 places. Nobody really cares.

I do. Makes me mad. They are basically urinating on us. If you don't care, not a true fan.

Maybe next time a coach let's his team do that in Neyland, you send your team out there to kick their asses and you tell him after the game that **** won't fly here.

Until that happens, expect to get treated however the hell they want to treat you.

Like the last time the dawgs came out and stomped the T? Richt couldn't get them off there soon enough. The Vols drilled 'em that day.

And all this time I just thought I left my fan card on the dresser. Turns out it's been revoked. :banghead2:

Which bring up this question - Has any band ever played Rocky Top for TN? I think it is a classy thing the Pride does.

University of Minnesota band played Rocky Top after they beat bama several years ago. Does that count?

I think the band plays the opposing team's fight song. If that were returned the other team's band wouldn't play Rocky Top, they would play Down the Field.

Telling fans not to boo is like telling people to not walk the way they do, or talk the way they do. It's not the easiest thing in the world for a fan to do......

As my UGA buddy said at the game last week . . . "Neyland Stadium is the only place on earth where you can get 100,000 people in unison to woo, boo and spell stuff on command."

This topic is stupid....teams have been running out during through the T for years. And we've run out on the road during other teams' pregame stuff.

In fact, I would bet it happens pretty much everywhere.

Every single game, like LSU, the opposing team intentionally runs out while we are running through the "T"!
This is really pi**ing me off and everyone is doing it. Even the commentators mentioned it as a "surprise". I believe we should respect each others traditions. I wouldnt want TN to do this to other teams. Its part of what make college football great! However if they dont stop then we should do the same. Run onto the field as soon as they start running out!

Have I just not noticed before? I dont think so, DD needs to address this.

Not DD the athletics director DD has enough on his mind :ermm:
