He would love to blitz. As soon as our secondary is good enough to handle their own, he will.
that is a total cop out... if you can hurry someone effectively it can effect someone the whole game... and if its done correctly it changes the other teams scheme... more importantly it forces a difficult decision on a QB... we MUST blitz... and we must do it often... teams with VERY questionable secondary players do it all day long in the NFL.... and ya thats an NFL comparison.... and no our DB's arent NFL guys.... we play in college.... but it has to be done at LEAST some of the time.... NOT NEVER!!!!
tell us how you really feel.. don't hold back
I am not the only one holding a candle to this bro.... I am a season ticket holder.... and lets just say nobody with in a long earshot has anything positive to say about Wilcox.... nor do the 100's in my alumni chapter I serve in locally.... his favor is losing ground in a huge hurry! honestly.... give me more than one good example on times he impressed you other than being overly conservative on his schemes?

Held UGA to 20. Gave up just a few big plays not because he didn't scheme it right, but because the (young) players got out of position. He isn't all that bad. Remember we recruited mostly DB's and a couple of LB's. Still has to get his DT's, and I assure you it wasn't his decision to not get more of them.

Boise will not lose but won't make the nat champ game. Wisconsin will lose to someone not expected and stanford will lose to oregon. It'll be a either undefeated lsu or bama against undefeated oklahoma

I may be on coke..but we win out from here on..play BAMA for SEC championship..beat the crap out of them again..(once simms beats them..once tyler)..a two loss SEC team (UT) plays against 1 loss Oklahoma..we kill them as usual business for SEC teams..landry jones plays so scared that he changes his name to lingerie jones..:loco:
Sorry. I posted mine before I read yours. You're right on the money here.
I will say, however, that he does blitz occasionally, it's just that the blitzes are so poorly designed that it doesn't really look like it; also, he almost always hedges his bet and pulls a lineman back into coverage (or I guess I should say "token coverage"). I did see him send 3 extra guys one play and they all kind of crept around the outside of the pocket instead of making something happen.
