Term Limits for the mods

Why? They aren't power hungry or anything. If they aren't doing a good job I would think it would be taken care of, but now, I don't see a problem at all. They are doing fine.

I don't even see why mods are needed. Just have a list of bannable words and if someone uses one in a post they are automatically banned.

Am I sensing some degree of indignance due to having so many posts and apparently no recognition, ie. guruship or not being invited to be a mod? :furious3:

Not nearly that easy... if it were, then why do you care?

I have a buddy that tells me that being a mod is a thankless job... I guess he's right. :crazy:

Don't let his post count fool you. Freak had a contest a while back for whoever has the most posts in a certain thread. Not sure if he won. But he had like 10,000 I think.

I suggested freak subtract the amount of BS posts after the contest but he never acknowledged it.

If we didn't have mods there would be no one to keep some from starting 100 threads on the same exact topic every single day.

You can read through almost every single post on this board every day, deal with the complaints, ban the trolls, ban the spammers, merge and move threads to their proper place, help people figure out how to do things such as upload avatars, add sigs, change user titles and answer other various questions pertaining to the board, deal with reported posts and figure out if it's bad enough to edit or not, edit flames, uphold the rules amongst other things on your own free time while getting nothing but a few posts about what a crappy job the mods do, and how there should be term limits...

While I start the same topic and make the same comments over and over and over and over again mostly trying to be cute..
