A little over 10 years ago...goal posts went down

For all of those under 20, just a little over 10 years ago. 2000 to be exact, both Georgia and LSU fans tore the Goal posts down after beating Tennessee in close games. Sad times for UT then. But if you have been that good for that long, for those top tier programs to do that, that says something. Times have changed too quick. Wasn't like 25 years ago.

great post...It is cyclical.....Name one team that has upheld dominance (dominance= 10 wins per year) for a long term(15-20 years) without disruption...we just need to take our lumps get to a bowl game this year....pack neyland for the spring game in 2012. The years in which the team is not doing well, you support the team, you learn to zip your mouth when you want to say some negative things...Next year begins the fruit of our support. If we lose the big three playmakers to injury during next year we will have the depth to be able to still win games... Last year we were young, this year we lack depth, Next year our slogan should be "No excuses"

Ridiculous post again .....i agree with coach....Things will get better...you can't have has much turmoil and turnover that we have had and stay on top....look at Florida...didnt they win the NC just 3 years ago....they just got beat by 40

Why is this a ridiculous post. I am just stating what happen. This was not a shot a the current regime. That is how good the program was at that time.
