if i were you guys id be feeling like this kid has to be on the fence he dont wanna backout of his commit but now he can play in the SEC and not leave home

50/50 he sticks i say this kid really has a tough choice to make

I'd say he'll be an Aggie. If you don't have to leave home, then why do it? Especially considering the fact that he's said all along distance is a factor.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but do you think he used the fact that aTm wasn't in the SEC to sort of justify him going to UT for the aTm fans pressuring him to stay home? And now that they have joined, he can't use that as cover anymore and the aTm fans think he'll stay home now. Just a thought. SIAP.

I've spoke with the family the last two days and they assure me that Dalton is 100% committed to Tennessee. He visited Texas A&M this weekend with a friend just to watch the game. Nothing more and nothing less. He is visiting Tennessee the weekend of the LSU game and has been actively recruiting Danny O'Brien for the Vols. Hope that will save a few fingernails.

I've been coming to this forum for 3 years now and it never ceases to amaze me how nobody seems to learn from situations like this...

A visit and a rumor then the next thing you know some people are melting down...

I agree that it would seem that Santos should be drawn to A&M...but he is not...

He has chosen us and his comments show that he is a young man that is worried about the biggest decision of his life so far...but he has weighed his options and chosen us....I have complete faith that he will remain a Vol

Guys, I know there is a nervous energy buzzing around about the status of Dalton Santos' commitment. Don't worry a bit. I have exchanged texts with Dalton's father today and he assured me that Dalton is still VERY committed to Tennessee.

Dalton went to the Texas A&M game with one of his coaches who is an Oklahoma State Alumni. He just wanted to go see that game and it was not even an official visit. He also came right home after the game was over.

He is still very excited about getting to Tennessee for the LSU game and is still in contact with Michigan defensive tackle prospect Danny O'Brien trying to get him to come to Tennessee as well. The two are both excited about their visit to Knoxville.

I still believe that Dalton will be a Volunteer. All along I have said that he is from a great family and he is a great kid. I don't think he takes the word commitment lightly.

if he doesnt take the word commitment lightly then why did he decommit for ok state?

Why do you contradict yourself? You continually say you think he'll be a Vol but then play devils advocate. Not to mention, you're asking the guy who is just passing along the info.

If you want an honest answer, you should ask the person directly. For instance, why are you here? It will probably be 2015 before Tennessee and A&M play. Do you post on TigerDroppings or CockyTalk? Just curious...
