The links above are about a Tennessee legend.

Ok vols, Tyler Bray has stepped up and showed us that he is an elite SEC QB by answering the challange to break Peyton Manning's records. My question is now who will break Reggie White's records? I feel like Reggie White is one of our all time greats that we have kind of forgotten about and has been lost in the past. He still holds the single game sack record-4/ single season sack record-15/ and the school sack record-32.

We have found a QB that has accecpted the challange to break Peyton Manning's records (Tyler Bray). Now we need to find that guy that is going to come to Tennessee and break Reggie white's records, who is it going to be???

I know there has to be some big time defensive players out there that are up to the challange.

COME TO TENNESSEE AND BREAK REGGIE WHITE"S RECORDS!!!!!!!!

I AM CHALLENGING YOU!!!!!!!!!

Doggone it! Why didn't you post that BEFORE Clowney went to SC???

Tyler Bray breaking all of these records got me searching the record books, but ya that would have helped if I would have posted it earlier. Regarless, there is some young talented kid out there that will be up to the challange. We just have to find him.

Wish we had a whole team of Reggies. Or a mix like, Ellis, Walker, Overstreet, Mahelona, Henderson, Haynesworth, etc.

Reggie White has 32 sacks and Leonard Little has 28 sacks. Had Little played as a freshman and had not gone to Junior College, I am sure he could have tied Reggie's record, if not barely beaten it.

I don't see many U.T. records being broken. None of them are a guarantee to be broken.

(1) I thought that Foster would gain the 700 yards as a senior to break Travis Henry's record. He was injured a few games and Dave Clawson had no clue as an Offensive Co ordinator, so Foster ended up 69 yards short of the record.

(2) I thought that after such a great freshman season, that Daniel Lincoln would break
Jeff Hall's record of 371 points scored. He fell off tremendously in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

(3) I thought Eric Berry would break the NCAA record for more return yardage after an interception but his junior season, Kiffred in changed Berry's role as a d.b. and he fell short of the return yardage record. Then he declared for the draft and missed his senior season.
(4) I thought Fulmer would beat the General's all time wins number. But Fulmer got lazy in the recruiting part of the game and started losing. He ended up 26 games shy of the all time U.T. wins record.

(5) I thought that Chris Lofton would be our all time scorer in U.T. history. After his junior season, he had cancer and didn't return for his senior season as strongly as he did his junior season. He also missed a few games during his senior season. He fell shy of the all time points record in U.T. history.

(6) Hunter could have broken Joey Kent's record of yardage and touchdowns for a receiver but he will miss 9 games this season, plus the bowl game. He will return next season but will be gone to the NFL after 2012, so I doudt that he breaks the record by playing 13 games next season.

(7) Tyler is on track to have the all time touchdown and yardage records at U.T. as a q.b.
but if he is injured or declares for the draft early, then he won't break those records.

I know exactly what the NCAA can do about this!!!!

(T.O.$.U.) The Ohio State University, was slapped on the wrist for their violations. I suppose it was treated that way because it is a money making program. However; Boise State had a few team members sleep on the couch of someone's apartment, rather than move in to the dorm and Boise State loses 3 scholarships a year for 3 years.
The difference is (1) Boise unknowingly violated an NCAA bylaw and (T.O.$.U.) did it blatently. (2) (T.O.$.U.) is a money making program and Boise is not.

Every day is a new day and every year is a new year. The record will be broken. We just have to find the guy to do it.

Reggie White was a one of a kind talent. If we can get someone who even makes us think they might get challenge his record I would be beyond thrilled.

If all our student/athletes approached the standards set by Reggie, we would become the Vols we are meant to be
