I honestly think I heard our band played once during the cincy game... They need to pick it up and just play all game long, everytime the opp is on defense.. Play a song.. Anything lol.

Kesling is here to stay. And I know it has been like listening to Van Halen without Roth. But at some point you have to accept the fact that, in certain cases, abject mediocrity is acceptable so long as one has the connections needed to remain on the job despite one's average or below-average ability. BK has that...and we're stuck with him.

The band? Love them and the traditions they have established at Tennessee since Dr. Julian first walked on campus. No need to change what has worked and worked with excellence for decades.

That is a sign of respect and welcoming of the visitors. As another poster said, the band has done that for years and years, and that will not change. You know how amazing it would be to go on the road and hear the other band play Rocky Top or Down the Field? I marched 4 years, and having gone to most road games, and would have loved it. Plus, it's awesome knowing that the Pride can play the opponent's fight song better than their own band.

The last four Presidential Inaugural Committees would argue differently. When you are good enough to be selected to represent Tennessee for 12 consecutive inaugurals, by politicians of all stripes and tastes, then you are doing something right.
