Don't get your panties in a wad Phil. Everybody has their own opinion and roids or not, they were sucking wind IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

And you can pick out exceptions, but the last 8 years of the Fulmer era lacked anything resembling strength or conditioning.

A couple of short drives by UT in the 1st quarter and the best physical running game in years by Nebraska will do that to a defense. Nebraska during that time was a very punishing team. We got punished like most everyone else. But we were not soft. We were 47-5 with losses to Florida, Nebraska, and Memphis State over 5 years. Also good buddy, nothing is bunched up here, just wanted to dispell that 'soft' nonsense. Young people might have saw that **i* and believed it. No hard feelings bro/sis.

Good buddy? What happened, did they finally let you off the set of hee haw?

I agree that for a time we had teams that rank among the top ever. I am not questioning Fulmers legacy. I happen to like the guy, but guys got lazy in our program. I knew more than a few players in the early 2000s, and I heard many times about the 'rigors' of the training.

Came off as Fulmer bashing, which to a devout Fulmerite is akin to a sin. I loved HeeHaw growing up, but that 'good buddy' can be attributed to the "Dukes of Hazard".
