It didn't make Crompton awesome. It was impressive that the staff got a qb that was awful for the first 4.5 years of his career drafted. And another one has him ranked 7th.
Fact is, he's getting drafted. That makes him awesome. Just like it made Crompton awesome, and Kiffin a genius. Remember?

another one (that's the key word). Being ranked below Simms should end this but I guess your love for Coleman knows no bounds
Well, the 2009 team put 7 guys in the pros....2008 saw three guys drafted (thanks, LWS).
A fact suggesting 2009's team was deeper and more experienced, and, in fact, one of the most indicative markers for team success. Except, obviously, when coached by Lane Kiffin, as all the facts indicate. Of course, any freakin' Vol fan knew 2009 was deeper and more experienced, except of course those blinded by ideology.
Looking back on the talent Kiffin ran off too, it boggles the mind, actually.
Which wouldn't have happend had Fulmer remained coach. Crompton certainly wouldn't have been drafted and maybe not Hardesty, considering Phillip used him as little as possible the previous three years.
2008
5-7 with a loss to Wyoming. It's in the books so please don't tell that famous lie that it's Hamilton's fault we lost to Wyoming. Your boy Phillip made them fire him. Hamilton wanted Phillip to retire at the end of the season but Phillip wouldn't have any of that. He wasn't going to go out with class like Lloyd Carr. Fulmer wanted the presser so he could talk delusionally about himself and his accomplishments. It was worse than pathetic.
For the record, I can't stand Kiffin and think he is a punk. That doesn't diminish the fact the program was slowly sinking under Fulmer. Facts are facts.
Possible impact starters for this season Kiffin signed
Daniel Hood 3*
Marsalis Teague 4*
Tyler Bray 4*
Channing Fugate 3*
Zach Fulton 3*
Jawuan James 4*
Michael Palardy 3*
Jacques Smith 4*
Wow. At some point you dig down so deep into a nadir that you must start coming back up on the other side of the planet. You really don't understand this stuff, do you?
Remind me which two year period has been as bad as this one?
2005 - 2006 = 14 - 11
2007 - 2008 = 15 - 12
2009 - 2010 = 13 - 13
Hellfire, boy, 1979 - 1980 was still over 0.500!
Game, Set, and Match. Wipe your nose, junior. You have been played.
PS - 2008 is not a fact. It is actually an outlier.lol:
LOL..it only boggles the mind of the severely uninformed. If they were so talented, then why aren't they making contributions at BCS schools.
BTW, Kiffin didn't run Creer or Paige off. They both left on their own account and neither contributed jack while they were here.
They are, and we've listed several in this thread.
Those not at BCS schools are doing very, very well too.
Creer had almost exact numbers as Hardesty the year he was here. He is on all the short lists for RB awards.
Uninformed. Good word!
