Starters That Kiffin Recruited

So let me get this straight...if Coleman is a worthless 7th round draft pick, he's better than Bray? Because Bray won't get drafted or anything, right?

So Coleman is a terrible QB, but you admit he may get drafted? No "terrible QB," where it is "extremely obvious" how bad he is, gets drafted.

had kiffin not left we would have more than likely landed all of the 2010 rivals' top-10 players in america. kiffin was known for signing day surprises, switching guys who were committed elsewhere. what more evidence do you dense people need!

And that's the mystique that the kiffin flufflers still cling to. They use "logic" like this to support any assertion supporting kiffin's recruiting exploits. No matter what the facts are, they are so blinded by kiffin's douchery, they'll use conjecture over fact.

Hunter committed to Dooley, its in freaking black and white.

Kiffin's class has suffered massive attrition, and many players he unsuccessfully recruited to Tennessee have flamed out elsewhere. Its a FACT.

At this point, at Tennessee, Dooley has proven to be a better recruiter than Kiffin.

He proved that his first two weeks on the job.

What did I say was extremely obvious?

That Coleman couldn't even compete with Bray. If that's the case, then either a) Coleman is terrible; or b) Bray is the next Peyton Manning. But you refuse to admit either, exposing the fallacy in your argument.

:lolabove:

I told everyone on this board Dooley did more in his first two weeks than Kiffin did.

And who is in the supermajority now????

Dooley pulled more contributors his first two weeks on the job than Kiffin did that whole class. In fact, I believe we have more contributors from that two weeks than Kiffin's whole tenure.

I have confidence in Bray. Dont expect heisman numbers this year but solid.

Hope you're right, but fear otherwise. Re-watch games even where he's celebrated for -- like Kentucky. He literally just throws the ball into coverage over and over and over again; the poor ball play of the secondary and our WR's good play just bails him out again and again. He can't rely on that this year.

Wrong again. I said it was extremely obvious that Bray was better. But considering he couldn't compete with Jonathan Crompton or beat out Nick Stephens, I'm certain the competition would not have been close.

Bray is better than Coleman. Coleman won't get drafted. Coleman could get a contract for practice squad. Coleman will probably end up in Winnipeg. Bray, as long as he doesn't have a career-threatening injury or a drug problem, will get drafted.

Flacco never started for Pitt.

Precisely my point. But you claim who beat D-1 competition is what defines a good QB; my argument is talent defines who they are, which is better assessed by the opinions of NFL scouts, NFL GMs, and NFL coaches come draft & signing time.

He can't rely on Justin Hunter to win a jump ball on a deep pass? Really?

The wideouts will have more growing pains than their talent/tools make it seem like, but Bray can sometimes afford to chuck a deep post and let the WR get it.

But...But...I thought you were counting all those players to Robert Neyland.

Coleman couldn't beat Vandy. Crompton had to come in.
