no skin off my back. tennessee is an also ran that can't even beat the wyomings in their own division, so they have to play down. it's understandable for a middling program. most of them do it. but you are kidding yourself if you think tennessee is an elite program. never has been, never will be.

Auburn is "elite" in the same way Michigan State and Texas A&M are. Tennessee's a top 10 program all time. Auburn might crack the top 20.

you and i both know that's not true. auburn has gone undefeated twice in the last 10 years haven't they?

They have about half the conference titles of Tennessee, less wins, a lower winning percentage, and less national titles. The only thing Auburn is first in is NCAA violations.

More important, Bama/Barn. Most historic, Bama/UT. More hate..depends on which bama fan you ask

Ditto, Fat Boy has some serious insecurity issues. It changed the tone of the rivalry somewhat, but even in the best of times has always been intense.

When I see that yellowish/orangish, retina altering, county jail break looking jersey, oh yeah, it's on.

Consider the Bama game one of the prime ones to attend any time....The people in Alabama consider the Iron Bowl the biggest rivalry. I am married to An Auburn grad and he hates Bama more than I do....Used to have a big rivalry in our house but not as often anymore....
