I just have a gut feeling UF pulls this thing out 23-20. I will be pulling for OSU cause in my mind if UF wins It can only help the gators program, which in turn hurts UT's chances against them in the coming years. LG, you are a class act, so don't take this personally. I'm just pulling for the best for UT in the long run.

fla. it just seems that they are getting all of the breaks that help them win, just like we did in '98.

I wonder what is Hat's take on this, and If OSU wins like I think they will, how they compare to Miami in 2001.

I take nothing on a message board personally. And if you you think that the outcome might have some effect on future UT - UF games, then I don't blame you for following your heart.

No one is voting for me. They are voting for ye Mighty Gators.

No doubt Florida has gotten a ton of them. Could be their year.

You are kidding, right? I am quite sure that Hat believes that the '01 UM team could have made it to the divisional playoffs in the NFL that year.

If they were in the NFC, who knows? They wouldn't make it to the playoffs, but they'd impress some of the doormats like the Lions.

The worst team in the NFL would still have smacked them around, unless the Canes got 8 months to prepare for the NFL, and got to go a whole schedule playing the good teams first to warm up.

I think for the first quarter the Canes would have held their own.

OSU wins a game that is higher scoring and closer than expected. The 2001 Miami team, as well as the '95 Nebraska team and the '04 USC team, would annihilate the '06 Buckeyes.

I agree. I'm really glad that there haven't been any "best team of all time" references by ESPN regarding this year's Buckeyes.

No they wouldn't have. As talented as the Canes were, NFL teams were NFL teams.
There has not been an NFL team bad enough in modern times so as to allow any college team to stay within 3 touchdowns of them.

I think you mean 1995. 1996 Huskers got shot out by Arizona State.
