The whole "A&M to the SEC" thing has people on him terribly. Makes no sense, for the most part last off-season everyone was all for the Aggies being invited. What changed? The fact that they were pretty good last year?

That and also that A&M is making a conference switch just to get one of your best recruits in Dalton Santos.

Our fan base is so damn paranoid. It's sad that they actually believe that a school would switch conferences just to nab a kid from UT :eek:lol:

Seriously though, go find those few gator and $$$Auburn$$$ fans that like to get on here and start crap and compare them to Aggie. He's taken a few shots at us, albeit nothing too painful. Compare his posting to theirs and what they say, it's two different kind of posters. People are hard on Aggie because the Santos topic is a "sensitive" one, for lack of a better word. His shots at UT compared to the trolls is like a slingshot vs 44 magnum. Can't blame him for what he's endured. A&M is a fine school. It's not like they ran 14 guys on the field and stole a bowl game from us. We have nothing to be angry at them for. They wanted a top tier linebacker and they want to be in the best conference in the nation. Who wouldn't? If you're going to get upset at anyone, get mad at Slive for entertaining this.

Some people on here are so paranoid about other schools' fans it's ridiculous.

Until Dooley loses a big time commitment that we really want, I'm going to always take the side of the guy who is committed and telling the fans that he's going to stay that way.

We're kind of in a sensitive place right now. We're teetering. We're waiting on success to come back and hoping that everyone's not passing us up. Now, before I get slammed, I'm not saying that's happening. I'm just saying that people are getting paranoid that it might. We're threatened when we get a major recruit because we're looking for the worst to happen because "UT can't be getting someone this good at a position of need." They're threatened by the timing of the situation. I don't think people really think that A&M is "chasing" Santos. They're trying to escape a negative environment. No one knows if the SEC is going to better for them in the long run. It's yet to be seen. Hopefully it all works out for the better. It's not like we have a say in the matter. :hi:

if you get LaDarrell McNeil, your defense in 2014 could be as good as your '98 defense :birgits_giggle:

For real. Everyone we recruit is always the next <insert VOL legend>. It could be Billy Bob, kicker from Hilljackistan, and he'd be the next Fuad Reveiz as soon as he commits.

i guarantee the next QB you sign will be the next Peyton Manning. Ill put money down on it.

Spot on, this fan base is so snakebitten that when something good finally happens, they're too worried about how it's going to be taken away instead of enjoying it.

Aggie, I apologize. I generalized everyone's paranoia and your comment about A&M having a nicer stadium. You are a great poster. I was in the wrong. I've been on vacation using vn mobile and can't see avatars but I'm pretty sure you've got one that's pleasing to the eye, that alone should keep me nice to ya.

forget the SEC. Tennessee is moving its program to L.A. so it can play in the NFL

I think most Vol fans would be happy about not having to deal with all the academic requirements put on by the "skewl th'ats bringin' Fooseball down by gawd *spit*. :)
