So even if A&M "joins" the SEC in a couple weeks, it would still be awhile before the teams they play changes significantly. SEC scheduling for the 2012 season has been put on pause for some reason.:eek:hmy: dont know why they would do that other then the fact they are waiting for A&M to join.

For A&M? I thought UT's was already set. Maybe some of them are. I'm pretty sure we are playing Oregon. Along with Bama, UF, USC, UK, Vandy and UGA. I don't know about the other games though. So you could be right. I honestly haven't given this much attention until today because the rumors just haven't gone away.

If Santos only committed to UT because we are in the SEC, then he can go if he wants. There are a few other factors that would seem to be more important like, oh idk.. coaches.. playing time.. enviroment.. etc.. I mean hey, if you just want to play in the SEC there is always Vandy.

The guy already decommitted once and the fact that there is talk of him considering waivering after he JUST committed a week ago says a lot.

There is not talk about him wavering, just Tennessee fans being skeptical and paranoid. Santos is a Vol, quit worrying people until words come out of his mouth saying something different.

We area so paranoid. I really dont want A&M because they would weaken our conference. Another spread team would suck.

Just cause we are paranoid doesn't mean he might not re-think his comittment...

Why would they weaken us? Have you seen the top 25 poll? Way ahead of us. No way they weaken us.

If A&M enters the SEC then Santos is gone IMO. I do think that it will help the SEC if we take more teams. A&M is not a weak team by any means, They would be a good add to the level of competition.

Anyone hearing anything about who else would be added? Surely there would be at least 2 schools to keep the divisions in balance..:hi:

I think they will go 16 teams. I think we are on the cusp of something big happening.

A&M..........Virgina Tech.........Clemson..........Oklahoma

WTF? Seriously? We can't pull recruits out of the state of Alabama because of the pride those kids have for instate programs. I would love to hear a rational explanation why anyone thinks this would help our recruiting.
