'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

:whistling:

Not an alum of any university so I do not have anything to prove for the grammar police. (Although I should have caught that) Now for the great Senator from the state of Floriduh and her words on the floor in DC, that should be shown to any recruit saying they have a great education.

can't blame that on UF....Undergrad at TCC/Famu.

Move on guys--he thinks UF is best for him so that's fine. Quit arguing and whining. There are plenty of others out there

"I liked Tennessee a lot," Humphries said. "I just felt like Tennessee had to sell me a little more.

Ath Dept must be on a limited budget, still paying our last coaches too bad we couldn't offer DJ more?

So, Vol insiders close to the situation are more credible than DJ himself? The Same Vol insiders who said DJ was a TN silent commitment?

Good call, atleast your allegiance is not suspect....

You really just don't get it, do you?

First, who said DJ was a silent? A reliable poster here who apparently works with the coaches said he was very confident in DJ coming to UT if he skipped FNL. He had just visited UT and had cancelled his trip to FNL. He made this claim before any media outlets said a thing. But notice, he never once said he was a silent; he simply said that a specific coach was confident if a certain series of events took place (and they did).

Second, were we even comparing "Vol Insiders" to DJ? No. I made an argument that recruits don't always tell the whole truth. I provided a couple of examples as evidence. Rival fan or not, I think it's a pretty logical argument to make that DJ wasn't telling the entire truth by claiming Mr. Collins had nothing to do with his recruitment to UF. To each his own.

Why hasn't this guy been banned yet?

I laughed haha, good one. And I don't even know what to make of that quote of his. Dooley did a great job. If he's saying this, I wonder if he ever really had us as his leader at one point.

Wanna see how FLA got DJ ? Read this bs..

ESPN:

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Mo Collins, a former first-round draft pick at Florida, was back on campus Monday and attended practice.

Collins was an offensive tackle on the Gators' 1996 national championship team. He played in the NFL for six seasons before knee injuries forced him to retire early.

Collins, who's from Charlotte, N.C., trains offensive linemen in the Charlotte area. One of the guys he's been training is D.J. Humphries, who just committed to Florida last week.

The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Humphries was a key get for the Gators, who need offensive linemen. He's ranked by ESPN as the top offensive tackle prospect in the country and the No. 7 player overall in the ESPNU 150.

A little late, but yes. If you don't think Collins had anything to do with it, I'm certainly suspect of your mental capacities.

DJ said he never talked about UF tho and i could see that being true it could make a kid uncomfortable if they feel you really are pushing them to a school

Why am I not banned? Because I've broken no rules my friend, I've posted recruiting info, about DJ Humphries, in the DJ Humphries recruiting forum

I think Mo had a possitive effect on DJ, simply for the fact that he came from NC, went to Florida, and was successful. I dont think he pushed him to go there. But, agree to disagree I guess
