Man, i'm just looking for bright spots.
I think Our VOLS stand a very good chance of being in the hunt for the SEC CG next year. yeah the loss of our top 3 hopefully only 2 wr's will hurt but that just leaves room for someone to step up. We will have Bolden and Fisher starting on the D-line and our Lb's should be pretty good fellows will return hopefully Hefney will be back. like i said i'm still trying to have hope here and i keep on getting slammed for it.
Don't worry about it man. Just keep on truckin' and let the nervous nellies bite all their fingernails off...

Win SEC East - Every 2-4 years

Win SEC Title - Every 5 years

Legitimate shot at a National Title - Every 10 years

I believe this is a fair assessment. Anything more than this (for any team in the SEC) is unrealistic.
If this is the case, we need to fire everyone over there including Hamilton.Wipe the slate clean.Maybe I'm too optimistic but IMO I choose to cut ALL of your estimates in half and expect no less.I don't want to be an enabler. I want to be a winner. Is that so bad?

In my reasoning, either UT, Georgia, or Florida will go to the SECCG every year.

To think we even GO to the SECCG every two years is unrealistic. To think we should WIN it every two years is ridiculous.

Heard it here first

UT 2007:

--Will beat Florida in the swamp
--11-1, playing for SEC Championship.

Only way that will happen is if Florida is forced to forfeit because of the noise rule.

Followed of course by down years in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Cal, Arkansas, and maybe a couple other mediocre teams just to be safe.

To each his own. Were sending as many NFL players as alot of programs are, over 100,000 in attending every game.I expect to make a serious run often.Apparently you like low standards.

The only way we win that much is to cheat in recruiting.

sort of like Maryville

Are you the new sheriff in town?

Heck No. I have no desire nor right to be. But, it was a cheap shot, and had nothing to do with Tennessee Volunteer football expectations for the years ahead. My advice "to go somewhere else" was just that, not an order.

Point taken. You're right, there are other forums for other subjects but I'm not sure there is one for who cheats or who doesn't. Maybe it was supposed to be a joke but who cares. It's all good...
