That whole Defensive unit including numerous reseves have nfl potential.

Yeah I can imagine a defense that good. All I have to look at the best 8 or so defenses in the SEC.

Good point. Recruiting that well (meaning the players just listed) does not put you above the rest in the SEC. It just keeps you competitive. Alabama, Florida, and LSU talent is just freaking scary.

How long has it been since in any real information about Santos has came out?

When Santos did not commit to Tennessee shortly after his visit here most felt that A&M would be a fairly quick winner. Now, the longer he waits has become a good sign for Tennessee.

Logically, Tennessee is the right answer for Santos because of the SEC style of football fits his own style of play. It appears that the holdup might well be the actual decision of leaving home -- not his family because they have already indicated a willingness to move here should he choose Tennessee. What cannot be moved with him is the place where he grew up, where all his friends are, and where he is most comfortable. It is hard to give all of that up, and it is a little bit like the grieving process but in the end it is all a part of growing up.

I like our position and what we have to offer him.

Good post. I guess the only thing we can hope for is his passion for football and wanting to play in the SEC plus EPT plus maybe he wants a change. Maybe he wants an out of State experience. lol

Excellent Post mlsoft. Would really love to see him don the Orange next year.

GBO!!!!!!

As most of us have probably realized in our past experiences, no matter where yoy go to college, things are never really the same with your high school friends anyways. You can stay instate and still lose contact with old hometown buddies just because when you are associated with a team, that is where your time and allegiance lie during those 4-5 years. With his family willing to move and the fact that he would lose touch with friends even if he went to aggieland, UT just makes more sense given his desire to play a certain brand of ball.

Exactly. You mature more in college and realize high school was not all that.

I know that everyone is different, but I always thought part of growing up and getting a taste of life meant getting out of your comfort zone (home town) and exploring things for your self. Maybe it's just my personality?

not disagreeing with your post, but A&M can offer EPT also. We have no one at ILB right now, and although we have some candidates for that position, none would be as strong as Santos.

I understand where your coming from. He can't lose no matter which school he picks. T&AM is a great school. I was just looking at it from our perspective and what he may be considering while he's pondering which school to choose.

ha ha....seems like it.

HAHA Troll! Really! Thats what you have to say. Wow! I dont know whether to be offended or laugh at that stupid accusation. I am a die hard University of Tennessee Vol fan. I support my team through the good times and the bad times. I live in The heart of Cat country and work in a predominately Cat building and on spirit day i still wear my orange when everyone wears blue or red. I wear orange. Ive been to numerous games. I may not know much insider stuff and you may not agree with what i say, but thats what message boards are for to say stupid stuff to see if they come true. I do think they have the potential to be better than that group. so what if thats my opinion thats my opinion. Look at all my posts you imbeciles' before you call someone that be able to back it up. Trust me I know you can't. How does having an opinion make me a troll. Please respond I look forward to your asinine comments.
